Here is an image of some of the Skate Decks that were in the Charity Auction.
This Auction is run by the organisers of the tattoo show (Brent and his team!) it runs at the show, and is a silent Auction.. All the proceeds go to a chosen Charity….which is kind of Khoul!!

Noel Mason (Ink Tattoo) and his brand new baby….guess he’s got something to be proud of there…..and he is for sure!!

Here is a covert Pic I took of Trudy getting some work done by Noel (Ink Tattoo…from Palmerston North)

Here are some Pic’s from the Tattoo Show. This event was one of the best organised/run events that I have been to. We just enjoyed the show and the people so much. It was great to hear so many people laughing and having a great time. An awful lot of people were laughing with others and at themselves….just generally having a good time. Yes i got some more ink, as I thought that it’d be rude not to!! So did Trudy. Really enjoyed the interaction/networking with people.. another thing I did notice was the huge cross section of people who were there, and all got on with it!!

Minty the website man here, jumping in with a quick post.

It’s a fabulous sunny day in Carterton and I was helping Bek with the new mural she’s working on, when the gorgeous Cheryl Jaggard walked by.

As I chatted to her I noticed she was wearing a beautiful headband. Turns out it’s yet another of Trev’s many productions. Fantasy helmets, art, canes, bike bags and now headbands- what can’t the man do with leather?

I grabbed a couple of quick shots. Apologies for the shaky-cam on the first one!

As per usual, click on a pic to see it bigger.

These are some images of “Steampunk II” which is one of the helmets I have just finished for the Exhibition in Oamaru “STEAMPUNK:tomorrow as it used to be” I’d love to be going, but unfortunately only my work will be heading down this time……..There is going to be a “Steampunk” fashion show down there, would love to be involved in that….so maybe, just maybe….I’ll get to go to that one!!

Steampunk Flyer for the up coming Exhibition in Oamaru….While not actually heading down to the show….I’ve had two works accepted, and will be sending these down this coming week….for the show.

gary wearing one of my “Fantasy Helmets”….you know the helmet suits him sooo much….I’m going to give it to him. I couldn’t think of a better person to have it…..It is like it was made for him, and he’s helped me out heaps….with a huge raft of things!!
The lady in the Pic….is the Mayor of South Wairarapa District (just down the track a wee bit)

Ian Forbes' MGB

Above is a pic of Ian Forbes MGB.

Ian ordered, and received one of my Motoring Helmets….in Torf coloured Deer Nappa, lined with dark Brown Slink skin (Lambswool). When he received the helmet, he sent me an email, as follows…

“Hello Trevor,
I arrived home tonight to find your package had arrived.
On opening it up I am so impressed. I had viewed your work at the Blenhiem Air Museum but it is not until you are in your own home that you have time to take it all in.
Your workmanship is astounding, the look, style & colour is incredible, the smell is fantastic, I love the lining inside, the buckles, peak, flap etc.
Best of all it looks sooo cool, & fits great, thank you so much for making it for me.
I have attached a photo of our car, we are heading off 2nd October for a car club run to Taupo & will take some photos of me in the car with the helmet on & get them to you.
Thanks again
Ian Forbes…..”

Now this guy would really make me a great publicist!! But all jokes aside, it really does warm the cockles of your heart when your work makes someone as happy as that…..it really does make me proud….but also humble!! So thanks for the email Ian, and hope you enjoy the helmet for many years to come….
